BOOK REVIEW: If I Stay by Gayle Forman.

Just listen, Adam says with a voice that sounds like shrapnel.

I open my eyes wide now.
I sit up as much as I can.
And I listen.

Stay, he says.

Choices. Seventeen-year-old Mia is faced with some tough ones: Stay true to her first love—music—even if it means losing her boyfriend and leaving her family and friends behind?

Then one February morning Mia goes for a drive with her family, and in an instant, everything changes. Suddenly, all the choices are gone, except one. And it's the only one that matters.
If I Stay is one of the most emotional books I have ever read in my entire life! It is so sad and yet, it is also a novel that will make you smile!

Gayle's novel is so heart achingly beautiful and it may be a little hard to understand and get into, but If I Stay is a shocking book that will left my mouth hanging wide open. Every word will sent little vibes to my mind and I think they were little memory vibes because I actually think that I experienced the same dilemma as Mia!

Sadly, I didn't fall in love with all of the characters. Just Adam and Mia because I found Adam really heroic and Mia because she had to make a big decision about her life! But all the characters linked perfectly in If I Stay.

There was this one quote that Mia's dad said in this novel and I love it with all my heart because it is a true quote! "Sometimes you make choices and choices make you." It is so beautiful!
If I Stay is a novel that needs to be read and beware of the ending becasue it made me cry my eyes out. And in my opinion, it is 1% better than The Fault In Our Stars!
